Gion Tsujiri - Uzu no Shiro Matcha

Gion Tsujiri is one of Kyoto’s most respected tea houses, celebrated for its premium Uji matcha and deep dedication to traditional Japanese tea craftsmanship. For generations, Gion Tsujiri has honored more than 800 years of Uji tea heritage, offering some of the finest tea Kyoto has to offer.

A matcha favoured by Tantansai Sōshō of Konnichian, the Urasenke tea school. The tea was bestowed its name, “Uzu no Shiro”, by Tantansai Sōshō.
