Gion Tsujiri is one of Kyoto’s most respected tea houses, celebrated for its premium Uji matcha and deep dedication to traditional Japanese tea craftsmanship. For generations, Gion Tsujiri has honored more than 800 years of Uji tea heritage, offering some of the finest tea Kyoto has to offer.

Yutaka Mukashi is tea name was bestowed by Tantansai, tea master of Urasenke Konnichian.

How to Prepare

Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–80 ml of hot water (80°C). Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Enjoy it straight or add milk for a creamy matcha latte.
