Sayaka no Mukashi is a premium ceremonial grade matcha, celebrated for its depth, richness and exceptional balance. 

Renowned among tea masters, this distinguished blend has an elegant character with a deep, mellow flavour, balanced by gentle natural sweetness and just the right amount of umami for a refined, satisfying finish.

How to Prepare

Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–80 ml of hot water (80°C). Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Enjoy it straight or add milk for a creamy matcha latte.

Tasting Notes

A refined taste with just the right amount of richness. Each sip includes complex flavours, such as the slight bitterness of spring vegetables.

Smells incredible. This is a very light and delicate flavoured matcha. Definitely better as a usucha than a latte. I wish this tasted like it smelt. It tastes like a very clean fresh matcha.
