Hagi-yaki Chawan – "Ume ni Mikazuki" (Plum Blossoms and Crescent Moon) – by artist "Ogura Torasuke" 

The design features vividly blooming plum branches with vermilion and white blossoms outlined in gold, interspersed with green buds that add a lively accent. What makes this piece truly special is inside the bowl, where a crescent moon (Mikazuki) appears alongside a soft golden band evoking moonlight against a night sky. As matcha is prepared and enjoyed, the moon gradually reveals itself along the rising water line — creating a wonderfully poetic effect.

The bowl comes with its original wooden box.
